1971 O-Pee-Chee Hockey Ken Dryden PSA 10 Gem Mint Rookie Auction Ends 8/27/17 @ 8:59 PM CST

The PSA 10 graded Ken Dryden rookie card is one of only 7 on the planet.  Once again we look towards The Cardboard Connection for insight:  “Ken Dryden’s stay in the NHL wasn’t a long one, but he’s still regarded as one of the game’s best netminders. He won five Stanley Cups with Montreal despite only seven full seasons in the NHL. Since retiring, Dryden has gone on to write books and be a politician. An icon of the sport, his 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee rookie card is the top card in one of the hobby’s greatest sets.”

This yet again another excellent example being auctioned by Pre-War Card Collector and they have this to say, “Impossible card! On the auction block this month is perhaps the single finest PSA 10 Ken Dryden rookie in the hobby. A truly immaculate card which has recently been holdered by PSA. Boasts perfect 50-50 centeting with four of the sharpest corners we’ve seen on the issue. Flawless edges with undeniable GEM MINT card stock. The print, color and focus are worthy of a PSA 11 if such a grade exist. An all around stunning Dryden rookie which comes with our highest recommendations and is only worthy of the finest collection in the hobby.”

Here is the front and back of the actual card:

There are no other PSA 10 Graded auctions for the Ken Dryden rookie at this time.
